We greatly value the involvement of parents in the life of the school and believe in a “partnership” approach of teachers and parents in the education of our children. Parents are welcome in school at any time and many call into school informally when bringing or fetching children. Should a more formal discussion be required, parents are welcome to talk to the head teacher or teachers.
Parents’ evenings are held during the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms. Under the terms of the Education Reform Act all parents receive annually a written report of their child’s progress as well as any assessment results where applicable. The distribution of the report takes place at the end of the Summer Term.
We also welcome parental involvement in the classroom. Parents are actively involved in all types of activities. If you would like to be involved please see your child’s teacher. We have a very active P.T.A / Friends group which organises many social events and also raises funds for the school. You are more than welcome to come along and lend your support in whatever way you can.
